“The Roundup: Punishment,” which is shattering records left and right, has now had 10 million screenings!
The Korean Film Council declared on May 15 that “The Roundup: Punishment” has officially topped a total of 10 million moviegoers at the Korean box office as of 7:30 a.m. KST that morning. It only took the movie 22 days after its April 24 premiere to reach this incredible milestone.

Remarkably, “The Roundup: Punishment” is the second Korean film to gain 10 million viewers in the quickest amount of time—only surpassed by the 2019 comedic blockbuster “Extreme Job,” which did so in 15 days.
