The 2023 SBS Drama Awards were held on December 29th to honor the top dramas and actors from SBS over the past year.
The Daesang (Grand Prize) was awarded to two performers – Lee Je Hoon for his role in “Taxi Driver 2” and Kim Tae Ri for her performance in “Revenant.”
Other major awards went to:
- Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung, who won Top Excellence Awards for “Dr. Romantic 3”
- Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung, who won Top Excellence Awards for “My Demon”
- Park Sung Woong and Moon Chae Won, who won Top Excellence Awards for their action/genre dramas
“Taxi Driver 2” was voted as the Netizen’s Best SBS Drama of 2023.
Excellence Awards were given to actors in multi-season dramas like “Taxi Driver 2”, romance/rom-com like “The Secret Romantic Guesthouse”, and action/genre shows like “The Escape of the Seven.”
Other awards included:
- Best Couple: Kim Yoo Jung and Song Kang
- Best Performance: Jin Sun Kyu
- Best Teamwork: “Dr. Romantic 3” cast
- Best Supporting Actors: Bae Yoo Ram, Jang Hyuk Jin, Kim Won Hae
- Scene Stealer: Go Sang Ho, Byun Joong Hee
- Best Child Actor: Choi Hyun Jin, Han Ji An, Park So Yi, Ahn Chae Heum
- Best New Actor: Kang You Seok, Kwon Ah Reum, Kim Do Hoon, Yang Hye Ji, Lee Shin Young
Overall, it was a great night celebrating SBS’ top-rated and critically acclaimed dramas and talented actors.
