The cast of the Xianxia drama The Boundless Bright Moon 明月苍茑 was just revealed during the boot ceremony. Peng Xiaoran and Zheng Yecheng will appear in the next series, which is an adaptation of Fengxing Shuiyunjian’s novel His Lordship The National Tutor of Defense 濝卫国师大人.
Though the drama aired several years ago, most people still associate Peng Xiaoran with her iconic portrayal as Xiaofeng in Goodbye My Princess. The 33-year-old actress hasn’t let it stop her from working nonstop. Not too long ago, she wrapped up filming Phoenix Stage with Ren Jialun. She has since officially announced and begun filming her upcoming drama with Zheng Yecheng.
Feng Miaojun, portrayed by Peng Xiaoran, is a cunning and intelligent character with a hard heart and a resolute demeanor. Comparably, 31-year-old actor Zheng Yecheng has a number of upcoming dramas, all of which are historical. He portrays the somber and icy-cold instructor Yun Ya from the rival kingdom of Wei in The Boundless Bright Moon. Quite the contrary of the black and crimson outfit worn by Winwin Dong Sicheng, who reprises his role as the second lead following Snowfall, as Mo Tizhun.
