A new collection of stills for Netflix’s upcoming series “The Trunk” has been revealed before its launch!
“The Trunk,” which is based on a novel, tells the story of a covert marriage ceremony that is accompanied by an enigmatic trunk. The story centers on Han Jeong Won (Gong Yoo), who enters into this contract marriage in an ironic attempt to maintain his previous marriage, and Noh In Ji (Seo Hyun Jin), an employee at NM (New Marriage) who finds herself profoundly alone despite her job of living with a “contract husband” every year.
No In Ji and Han Jung Won, who begin a somewhat unusual married life as a contracting couple, have distinct yet comparable empty atmospheres, which are highlighted in the recently released stills. It’s fascinating to see how No In Ji warms Han Jung Won’s house, which is still troubled by old trauma, and how they become more accustomed to each other’s presence in day-to-day living.
A different couple, Lee Seo Yeon (Jung Yun Ha) and Yoon Ji Oh (Jo Yi Geon), pique interest with their mysterious looks. Tension is added to the plot by Yoon Ji Oh, who loves Lee Seo Yeon despite knowing everything about her, and Lee Seo Yeon, who exposes her perverse impulses by divorcing Han Jung Won and getting married under contract.
No In Ji, Han Jung Won, Lee Seo Yeon, and Yoon Ji Oh are seated at a table in a tense environment in the still photos below. In front of No In Ji and her present spouse Yoon Ji Oh, Lee Seo Yeon provocatively wipes her ex-husband Han Jung Won’s mouth. Viewers’ interest in the secrets behind these four people’s marriages and what will happen after their contract marriages expire is heightened by their complicated connections and disparate aspirations.
