While two favorite dramas are coming to an end, another is off to a great start!
Ahead of its series finale on December 2, MBN’s “Perfect Marriage Revenge” had its greatest viewership figures to date. The penultimate episode of the revenge romance drama set a new record for the show with an average nationwide rating of 2.9 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.
In the meantime, “Welcome to Samdalri,” a brand-new romantic drama on JTBC, debuted to encouraging numbers. The series’ debut episode outperformed the premiere ratings of its predecessor “Strong Girl Namsoon,” a drama that had previously filled its time slot, with an average nationwide rating of 5.2 percent.
“Castaway Diva” on tvN achieved an average nationwide rating of 8.1 percent, surpassing the ratings of its series finale, with just one episode remaining.
With its most recent episode, KBS 2TV’s “Korea-Khitan War,” which airs during the same time as “Castaway Diva,” reached a record-breaking high of 8.4 percent.
The fourth episode of MBC’s “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract” received an average countrywide rating of 6.4 percent, while the fourth episode of SBS’s “My Demon,” which airs during the same time slot, received an average nationwide rating of 4.0 percent.
In the end, “Live Your Own Life” on KBS 2TV maintained its position as the most-watched program on Saturday, averaging 16.6% nationally for its most recent episode.
