A new trailer for MBC’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Chief Detective 1958” has been released!
The renowned Korean television series “Chief Inspector,” which aired for 18 years from 1971 to 1989 and attained amazing peak ratings of 70%, will have a prequel called “Chief Detective 1958”
“Chief Detective 1958” will take place even earlier in the 1960s, although the first show took place in the 1970s and 1980s, or modern times at the time. Choi Bool Am’s character, Park Young Han, the series’ titular head inspector, will be portrayed by Lee Je Hoon as a younger version. Yoon Hyun Soo, Choi Woo Sung, and Lee Dong Hwi also appear in the drama as members of Park Young Han’s team.
Park Young Han, a detective who has recently arrived in Seoul, confidently introduces himself at the opening of the recently released teaser trailer. He is an enthusiastic detective who holds the province record for making the most petty theft arrests in Gyeonggi. But 1958, when a gloomy period begins, is not an easy year for him to conduct investigations in Seoul.
From murder cases to vehicle explosions, Park Young Han and his colleagues go through trying times together and endure frustration, rage, and sadness. However, Park Young Han declares, “There are only two things that we need to remember from now on—to protect the weak and beat up the bad guys,” demonstrating his unwavering resolve. There is a lot of excitement about the fascinating investigations that Park Young Han’s team will conduct.
