The main image and video for Disney+’s upcoming drama “The Impossible Heir” have been revealed!
The plot of “The Impossible Heir” centers on three out-of-work individuals who get together to try and seize control of Korea’s biggest conglomerate. Han Tae Oh, the son of a killer, will be portrayed by Lee Jae Wook; Kang In Ha, the illegitimate son of a chaebol chairman, by Lee Jun Young of U-KISS; and Na Hye Won, the debt-ridden daughter of a gambler, by Hong Su Zu.
Han Tae Oh, who has lived a hard existence at the bottom of the food chain and is eager to leave his conditions, is introduced in the recently released trailer. Han Tae Oh is obviously afraid when his murderous father phones him from prison and says, “I want to see my son so badly.” Later, he warns someone, tears in his eyes, to go away! Just flee as soon as possible!
As the illegitimate son of the chairman of Korea’s biggest conglomerate, Kang Oh Group, Kang In Ha is dealing with his own challenges in the meantime. Someone teases him, saying, “Looks like you’re locked in your room again today and won’t be able to come out,” because he can’t even name his own father “Father.”
Eventually, Na Hye Won is approached by loan sharks who demand that she return the substantial amount of money that her mother, a habitual gambler, owes them. “Mom?,” spits back Na Hye Won. I am not a mother.
Driven to the breaking point by their individual situations, the group resolves to reach the pinnacle of the social hierarchy. “Didn’t you want to live a different life than the one you’re living now?” queries Na Hye Won. In the meantime, Kang In Ha is informed by Han Tae Oh, “The power you’re talking about? That, in my view, is insignificant. Since I possess something even more powerful than that. Desperation.
The plot appears to take a violent turn as Kang In Ha seeks to succeed his father and inherit the Kang Oh Group. “If I save you, please officially acknowledge me as Chairman Kang Joong Mo’s son, Kang In Ha,” Kang In Ha then addresses his father directly.
Han Tae Oh asserts, “If you want to achieve your goals, you need to put in at least that much effort,” while Na Hye Won states, “No matter what happens, I’m going to do the things I said I would do.” Then, he reassures Kang In Ha, saying, “Everyone will be focused on you and you alone. because you will achieve ultimate success.
Ultimately, the drama’s primary poster describes the plot as “the rebellion of the small-timers at the bottom of the food chain,” and the slogan, “We’ll show you how far we can go,” encapsulates the three characters’ tenacity.
On February 28, “The Impossible Heir” will make its debut. Below, you can view the drama’s poster and trailer!
