Shin Ye Eun and Rowoon may co-star in a future historical drama!
The upcoming drama “Takryu” (romanized title) has Shin Ye Eun in the cast, according to a report published on February 20 by Hankook Ilbo.
Shin Ye Eun’s agency, NPIO Entertainment, responded to the story by saying, “She is positively reviewing [the offer] to star in ‘Takryu.'”
Rowoon’s agency revealed last year that he was in negotiations to play the drama’s male lead. In a similar vein, it was also rumored that Park Seoham was in talks to star in “Takryu.”
The second historical drama written by Cheon Sung Il, who spearheaded the success of “The Slave Hunters,” is titled “Takryu.” The drama will chronicle the tale of a man who, using just his body, goes from being a gangster at Han River’s Mapo Port—the center of the Joseon Dynasty’s economy and logistics—to becoming a legend in Joseon.
In addition, Shin Ye Eun is getting ready for her next drama, “Jeong Nyeon” (romanized), in which she will be starring with Moon So Ri, Kim Tae Ri, and Ra Mi Ran. The release of Jeong Nyeon is slated for later this year.
