Fans of Solo Leveling are praising the English dub’s voice actor Sung Jinwoo for an “all-time great performance.”
Even after an incredibly successful first season, Solo Leveling continues to win over its supporters. Viewers are amazed by Aleks Le’s commitment to the role of Sung Jinwoo, the series’s protagonist in the anime’s English dub after he shared a clip of his recording of the Jinwoo vs. Igris fight on TikTok.
Solo Leveling’s anime adaption received high marks from both reviewers and spectators and was nominated for numerous awards. The anime received praise for its directing, animation, and voice acting, among other things. Viewers overwhelmingly praised Japanese voice actor Taito Ban for his depiction of the well-known character in Jinwoo.
At first, fans of the English dubbing of Jinwoo were not as appreciative of the voice actor. Aleks Le, a voice actor, publicly and hilariously responded on his TikTok to threats he received online. They were eventually converted, nevertheless, by Le’s superb voice acting.
The anime community’s prohibition against English dubs is one of the reasons Le received threats. Anime fans believe that the Japanese dub is better than the English dub. Le’s work in Solo Leveling Season 1’s later episodes, however, disproved the opinions of a lot of spectators. As of right now, many fans have dubbed Solo Leveling “one of the best English dubs in anime.”
Fans have shown Le a lot of love and support for his Tiktok video. “Wow, finally a dub that can match the Japanese?” a viewer commented. Da*n, dude.
Another viewer complimented Le and said, “If you haven’t watched the dub, please do.” Aleks is performing to the best of his career throughout the entire production.
An admirer of anime says, “I’m just waiting for the dub of episode 12 to come out so I can rewatch the entire thing in dub.”
Another user said, “This is actually one of the best English dubs I’ve ever seen.”
Solo Leveling Season 2’s voice acting is expected to be of the same caliber; the release date has not yet been disclosed.
