New stills from “Lovely Runner” on tvN have been released ahead of tonight’s show!
“Lovely Runner” is a new time-slip romantic drama that explores the topic, “What would you do if you had the opportunity to save your ultimate bias?” It is based on a well-known web book and was written by Lee Si Eun, the author of “True Beauty.” In the film, Kim Hye Yoon plays Im Sol, a devoted fan who travels back in time to save her idol Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok).

Before, fans were glued to the television as Ryu Sun Jae and Im Sol exchanged their first kiss. But things took an unexpected turn in the end when Kim Tae Sung (Song Geon Hee), who had asked Im Sol out, unexpectedly sent her back to the year 2023. Im Sol had no memory of what had happened the previous night. Viewers were particularly stunned to see 34-year-old Im Sol, who expressed astonishment at the prospect of an unchanging future upon learning of Ryu Sun Jae’s death, and 18-year-old Im Sol, who simply replied “Yes” to Kim Tae Sung’s confession.
The recently made public stills show Ryu Sun Jae and Im Sol abandoned at night close to a reservoir’s shore. The fact that the two are totally submerged in water piques our interest in what will happen to them.
Im Sol glances at Ryu Sun Jae with tearful eyes, touching viewers’ hearts as she gently examines her for injuries.
Then, as though attempting to console Im Sol, Ryu Sun Jae enfolds her firmly in his arms. The incident’s details and how it may affect their relationship are left up to the viewers’ curiosity.
“Lovely Runner” will broadcast its upcoming episode on April 16 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
