Ahead of tonight’s show of tvN, new heartwarming stills from “Lovely Runner” have been released!
“Lovely Runner” is a new time-slip romantic drama that explores the topic, “What would you do if you had the opportunity to save your ultimate bias?” It is based on a well-known web book and was written by Lee Si Eun, the author of “True Beauty.” In the film, Kim Hye Yoon plays Im Sol, a devoted fan who travels back in time to save her idol Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok).

The most recent stills include Ryu Sun Jae and Im Sol enticing viewers with their private moments spent in Im Sol’s brother Im Geum’s (Song Ji Ho) chamber, being careful not to wake him up.
In one picture, Im Sol covers Ryu Sun Jae’s mouth out of the blue, surprising him. In an attempt to shield Im Geum from possible discovery, Ryu Sun Jae cradles Im Sol in a blanket and keeps her near. Their intimacy intensifies their romantic tension as Im Sol gingerly peeks out from behind the cover.
In a different shot, Ryu Sun Jae is still clearly shaken by the experience and is struggling to calm his racing heart as he muses over the warmth that Im Sol’s touch left behind.
Finally, Im Sol is shown sitting at Ryu Sun Jae’s side in a private moment of reflection, lovingly examining his sleeping face.
“Im Sol struggles to protect Ryu Sun Jae while he continues to make direct advances toward her,” the production team remarked. The two of them will have a different connection after episode six. Please tune in for today’s program, as the background to Ryu Sun Jae’s 15-year unrequited love will be unveiled in particular.
On April 23 at 8:50 p.m. KST, “Lovely Runner” will broadcast its upcoming episode.
