“Queen of Tears” on tvN has teased Kim Soo Hyun’s revenge in the next episode!
“Queen of Tears,” written by Park Ji Eun, the author of “Crash Landing on You,” “My Love From the Star,” and “Producer,” is a remarkable, exciting, and comedic tale about a married couple that perseveres through adversity and sticks together in the face of all obstacles.
Spoilers:
In the previous episode of “Queen of Tears,” Yoon Eun Sung (Park Sung Hoon) planned a scheme to assassinate Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun), and Baek was taken into custody by Interpol. In order to cause a breach between them, Yoon Eun Sung also lied to Kim Ji Won’s amnesiac character Hong Hae In, falsely accusing Baek Hyun Woo of being a killer.
As word of his incarceration spreads like wildfire, Baek Hyun Woo’s legal acquaintances, notably Kim Yang Gi (Moon Tae Yoo), are also thrown into disarray and sorrow in addition to the Queens and the Yongduri family.
Baek Hyun Woo looked lonely in the jail facility in the recently made public stills. His thin face betrays the extreme mental anguish he has been experiencing.
Baek Hyun Woo, though, is not one to back down. He sets out on a quest to prove his innocence, receiving steadfast support from Kim Yang Gi, the legal Avengers, and the Queen family. What secret weapon does Baek Hyun Woo have that will eventually expose Yoon Eun Sung’s deceitful plans, one wonders?
However, there’s also attention to be paid to the stills that depict Hong Hae In’s cold personality following her surgery. She seems so different from the person she used to be, standing next to Yoon Eun Sung, with her cold, piercing eyes.
The fact that Hong Hae In still shows evidence of remembering Baek Hyun Woo—whose name was the first thing she said—even after having surgery is quite noteworthy. The mystery surrounding her diary, which she gave to Baek Hyun Woo before her surgery, grows in terms of how it might provide the key to unlocking her memories and how her previous attempts to hang onto her memories of him will be fulfilled.
“Queen of Tears” will broadcast its upcoming episode on April 27 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
