New stills from “Dare to Love Me” have been released ahead of tonight’s show!
“Dare to Love Me” is a romantic comedy based on the popular webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of the love between Kim Myung Soo’s character, Shin Yoon Bok, a 21st-century scholar from Seongsan village who firmly believes in Confucian values, and Lee Yoo Young’s character, Kim Hong Do, who is his art teacher and has a straightforward and reckless personality.
Spoiler:
Kim Hong Do, who had appeared on “Dare to Love Me,” at last understood that her strange emotions were caused by her affection for Shin Yoon Bok. He never treated her carelessly, and for that she was thankful. He treated her with warm regard and compassion. As a result, she took care of Shin Yoon Bok, who was happy spending time with her despite his lack of experience with Seoul’s urban lifestyle.
The focus now shifts to Shin Yoon Bok, who seven years ago benefited from the consoling words and support of Kim Hong Do, raising the possibility that he is harboring romantic affections for her as well.
Shin Yoon Bok and Kim Hong Do are shown in the recently released stills spending a day in Seongsan Village on an assignment from Camillie (Bae Jong Ok). Shin Yoon Bok, a helpful presence, gives Kim Hong Do a kind glance as she energetically explores Seongsan Village.
They appear to be a pair because of their loving and trusting looks at one another. Another scene features Shin Yoon Bok removing his robe and wrapping it around Kim Hong Do, providing a romantic moment against the backdrop of a warm sunset.
In order to lift Kim Hong Do’s spirits, Shin Yoon Bok carefully plans a modest gathering. Kim Hong Do’s quick thinking and decisive acts startle everyone around him and make their hearts race when an unforeseen circumstance occurs. The fact that Shin Yoon Bok has brought the same woman into Seongsan Village twice—a region where foreigners are typically not allowed—has also aroused the interest of the locals.
