The next movie “Pilot” has released a brand-new behind-the-scenes video!
The plot of “Pilot” centers on Han Jung Woo (Jo Jung Suk), a famous pilot who unexpectedly loses his job but manages to land a new one after undergoing a startling metamorphosis. This is Jo Jung Suk’s first big-screen comeback in five years, alongside Lee Joo Myung, Han Sun Hwa, Shin Seung Ho, and other actors.
Interviews with director Kim Han Gyul and the main characters are included in the recently released video, which takes viewers behind the scenes of the movie’s creation.
The film also showcases the production team’s attempts to make sure Jo Jung Suk’s appearance is as authentic-looking as possible without going overboard. Jo Jung Suk had significant weight loss for his role in “Pilot,” and in order to create his own distinct look, he tried on more than a hundred different clothes, according to costume director Kim Jung Won.
The film concludes by briefly outlining the rationale behind the frequent appearance of singer Lee Chan Won’s fan merchandise in “Pilot” advertising materials. “We took a lot of inspiration from Lee Chan Won’s fans and ultimately decided that [Han Jung Woo’s mother would be a fan of] Lee Chan Won,” says director Kim Han Gyul.
