In the brand-new romantic drama “Bad Memory Eraser,” a man’s life is drastically altered by a memory eraser, and the woman who controls his destiny is central to the narrative. Kim Jaejoong of JYJ plays Lee Kun, a once-talented tennis player who suffered a loss of confidence and self-worth due to an injury. Jin Se Yeon portrays neuropsychiatrist Kyung Joo Yeon, who through memory modification unwittingly ends up being Lee Kun’s fictitious first love.
The eagerly awaited series, which is Kim Jaejoong’s first drama in seven years, debuted on August 2 to fierce competition from broadcasts of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The first episode of “Bad Memory Eraser” received an average nationwide rating of 1.0 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.
