The writer and director of the popular drama “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” has a new romantic comedy on tvN called “Love Next Door.” Starring as Bae Seok Ryu, Jung So Min attempts to turn her turbulent life around after something goes wrong. Choi Seung Hyo, the son of her mom’s friend, is portrayed by Jung Hae In, who she views as a dark and awkward period in her life.
Spoiler:
Jang Tae Hee (Seo Ji Hye), Choi Seung Hyo’s college ex-girlfriend, paid him an unexpected visit in the previous episode of “Love Next Door” and asked for his assistance. Jang Tae Hee noticed that “whenever Seok Ryu smiles, you automatically smile too,” which made him confront his emotions after witnessing him with Bae Seok Ryu.
New stills from the drama’s upcoming episode show that when Seok Ryu visits Seung Hyo’s room early in the morning, he unintentionally finds the buried letter in which he confesses his emotions for her.
Seung Hyo is shocked to discover the letter in Seok Ryu’s hands when he gets back to his room after taking a shower. Seok Ryu, meantime, is staring strangely and shocked at Seung Hyo, making her wonder if she has read the letter and discovered his long-kept secret.
“Choi Seung Hyo and Bae Seok Ryu have always shared all of their childhood memories and embarrassing pasts with one another,” the “Love Next Door” production team remarked. Thus, the first secret that either of them is withholding from the other is Choi Seung Hyo’s feelings for Bae Seok Ryu.
“Please stay tuned to find out if Choi Seung Hyo’s unconveyed feelings will be able to reach Bae Seok Ryu,” they teased further.
