The most recent news didn’t let One Piece fans down in the slightest—they have been eagerly expecting the casting of their favorite character, Nico Robin.
Season 2 of the well-liked Netflix live-action adaptation of the manga One Piece will soon be available. The actor who is going to play Nico Robin in the series appears to have been revealed, and fans are waiting for a new teaser and release date.
With Warlord Crocodile as his right hand, Robin will be portrayed as a villain. In the Whiskey Peak Arc, she was referred to as Miss All Sunday, after the first island the Straw Hats visited along the Grand Line.
There is more to the enigmatic island than meets the eye, even if they were pleased to see pirates treated like heroes. Regarding the casting of Nico Robin, Lera Abova, a Russian actress and model, seems to have been confirmed by Netflix.
The information has purportedly been removed from Netflix’s official website despite having been shared there. However, this hasn’t stopped social media users from spreading the word.
“Btw, the new cast information was posted on Netflix’s official website by mistake and then deleted after a few minutes lmao,” a well-known One Piece fan account disclosed.
One person responded, “They messed up by holding on to the reveal for way too long; it was inevitable that it would be leaked.”
Despite this, fans are ecstatic about the casting announcement, with one writing, “Wooo! A person from Russia! They were well-prepared, the casting seemed appropriate, and she would be a great Robin.
One person commented, “She looks perfect,” and another, “Well, she has the sharp side of a sinister and mysterious character, and that suits Robin in Arabasta.” A third person noted as much.
