We have another leak about the Samsung Galaxy S24 that we would like to share with you. This one is about the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and it concerns the thickness of the bezels surrounding the flagship phone’s screen.
According to the always trustworthy @UniverseIce, the S24 Ultra will have “the thinnest bezel and the thickest middle frame”; they have even included a mock-up render of the phone’s real appearance.
The phone’s central frame, which is the edge outside the display and bezels, is expected to be 1.85mm thick, although the bezel—the black borders immediately outside the display—will reportedly only be 1.52mm thick.

This source claims that the phone has “the thickest frame in history” because it is 3.37mm in total. The black model of the phone is said to be really “ugly” because the bezel and frame merge when the phone is in portrait orientation.
I’ll refer to the S24 Ultra as a smartphone having the thickest central frame and the narrowest bezel. Its bezel is the thinnest, measuring only 1.52mm. However, the central portion of the frame measures 1.85mm, making it the thickest phone in history. Hence, the sum equals 3.4 when added together. Dec. 3, 2023; pic.twitter.com/yr4OO7IPiE
Screens and bezels
Unexpectedly, there has been a lot of discussion on the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s bezels. @UniverseIce has already said on record how thick the frame and bezels will be together.
The top and bottom bezels seem to be going to be narrower than the ones on the left and right sides of the screen, based on earlier unauthorized renders of how these bezels would appear on the real phone.
In keeping with what we’re hearing regarding bezels and frames, the Ultra model is also rumored to be getting a flat screen in place of its predecessor’s slightly rounded corners.
Even though this is coming from a trustworthy source, nothing is confirmed yet. The launch events for the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra are anticipated to take place in January.
