The posters for Lin Jiang Xian 临江给, Yu Zheng’s forthcoming xianxia series, have been released. The producer has received a ton of love for his most recent effort in his numerous social media posts. He gave it 100%, stating that everything about it, from the makeup and graphics to the narrative and poster design, impressed him. Nevertheless, despite all of his efforts to promote the show, some people don’t seem to be impressed by the recently released posters, which show Bai Lu dressed in flowing red robes and co-star Joseph Zeng Shunxi standing across from her with snow-white hair.
Maybe he had exaggerated a little bit.
Many fans expressed disapproval of the poster’s general design aesthetics, claiming it still needs work and doesn’t do the two leads’ looks justice. However, given that it appears overexposed, it appears as though they may have overdone the brightness adjustment. Then they compared two images of Bai Lu and Joseph Zeng’s characters: one was smaller and the other was larger. I find that the sizing seems a little strange, especially in the picture where Bai Lu is holding out a sword that is almost up against Joseph Zeng’s nose! What are your thoughts, guys?

The producer even referred to the drama as “my favorite story paired with my favorite actor” when Yu Zheng originally announced its premiere on April 8 during a boot camp. It is well known that Bai Lu is an artist represented by Huanyu Film, the agency owned by Yu Zheng. Many of her supporters believe he’s doing more harm than good, despite the fact that he would openly praise her.
In the instance of Lin Jiang Xian, he even goes so far as to draw comparisons between Joseph’s persona and that of Gong Yoo from the highly regarded South Korean hit film Goblin. He went so far as to say that “the drama’s middle third is a little better than the kdrama The Glory, and the first third is more exciting than Goblin.” The producer described the female lead as a figure that has “never been done before with countless twists.”
The tale of Dacheng Master Bai Jiusi and Li Qingyue, a Four Spirit immortal, whose love story started as a hateful relationship but ultimately got a second chance, is told by Lin Jiang Xian. Even though there are doubters and worries regarding the show’s aesthetics and styling while it is filming, only time will tell how well the program turns out in the end.
