Prior to the drama’s conclusion, Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik have revealed their parting words!
In the romantic comedy “Doctor Slump,” two erstwhile competitors suddenly come together and brighten each other’s lives at their lowest points. Park Hyung Sik portrays Yeo Jung Woo, a prominent plastic surgeon whose flourishing career was abruptly jeopardized after an unusual medical mishap, and Park Shin Hye plays Nam Ha Neul, an obsessive anesthesiologist experiencing burnout.
Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik, who reunited for “Doctor Slump” after an 11-year break, received great praise for their flawless on-screen chemistry. With only two episodes left in the drama’s season finale, both stars have shared their sincere introspection in front of the program’s end.
Time went by too fast, said Park Shin Hye. It appeared that a lot of people could relate to Ha Neul and Jung Woo, taking consolation and comfort from the author’s words. One could argue that the fact that viewers identified with Ha Neul and Jung Woo on an emotional level indicates that they have also gone through some pain. However, I am also happy that the drama ‘Doctor Slump’ might have provided them with some support.
“It’s really unfortunate that the series is already coming to an end,” said Park Hyung Sik. Many of the scenes from the filming come back to me. “I express my gratitude to the production team of ‘Doctor Slump’ for their diligent work,” the statement goes on, “It was an enjoyable, joyous, and touching drama.”
In response to the question of how she would remember “Doctor Slump,” Park Shin Hye said, “As an invitation to everyday life,” and that it was a project that naturally allowed her to carry on with her acting career. I think I’ll remember it as a healing drama because I could really relate to Ha Neul because there was a period when I was just like her.
Park Shin Hye said, “I really relate to the response regarding the mother-daughter relationship,” in response to the fans’ enthusiastic reactions to the drama. I also recall that Ha Neul and Jung Woo received praise for expressing their feelings honestly and without reservation.
“I recall the remarks that characterized Ha Neul and Jung Woo as a couple who are honest in their expressions,” Park Hyung Sik continued. Seeing Ha Neul and Jung Woo showered with affection was comforting.
Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik encouraged viewers to look forward to the drama’s remaining episodes prior to the show’s finale. “Please watch Jung Woo and Ha Neul until the very end to see if they can get out of their slump,” they said.
“Thank you for liking and supporting all the characters in ‘Doctor Slump,’ who each have their own stories,” said Park Shin Hye in closing. There could be no greater happiness if “Doctor Slump” could provide comfort to everyone who is like Yeo Jung Woo and Nam Ha Neul. Once more, we appreciate your compassion, humor, and tears.
“I had a lot of fun and was happy while filming ‘Doctor Slump,’ and there were many heartwarming moments,” Park Hyung Sik continued. I sincerely appreciate all of the viewers who shared our laughter and tears. I hope our drama was somewhat consoling and reassuring. I appreciate all of your kindness and help.
