To celebrate the release of The Final Chapters on home media, Attack on Titan is making its theater debut, but you must currently reside in Japan.
Even though Attack on Titan has been over for almost a year, the finale still has us in stitches. Eren Yaeger’s battle against the terrible Titans, one of the best anime stories of the 2010s, captivated us for years and culminated in an emotional (if a little drawn out) finale.
A new film is making its theater debut as the final episodes, Part 4 of Season 4, are being released on Blu-ray in a special Attack on Titan: The Final Chapters collection. The film in question is a compilation called The Last Attack.
On Friday, November 8, 2024, three days after the first anniversary of watching it all on television, Attack on Titan: The Last Attack will be released. Unfortunately, it’s currently only available in Japanese theaters.
A teaser showcasing some of the amazing moments from those most recent episodes is included with the news. There’s been a lot of fire, giants, and pushing of Survey Corps personnel to the brink.
The Last Attack is a compelling movie for an afternoon or evening at the theater, running just under two and a half hours. It opens at a time when anime is enjoying great success at the box office. Hello everyone! Gundam Seed Freedom and The Dumpster Battle are two of the highest-grossing Japanese films of the year.
In addition to those, two other films that received widespread distribution were Blue Lock: The Movie – Episode Nagi and Demon Slayer: To the Hashira Training. Even though Demon Slayer has been doing them since the second season, the latter was also a compilation film.
MAPPA chose to intensify the huge finale since it is evident that there is still excitement for Attack on Titan. Given the franchise’s general popularity, it seems likely that we will eventually see a global release, although that is still up in the air.
