The cast of tvN’s upcoming drama “Black Salt Dragon,” sometimes referred to as “He’s the Black Dragon,” has expanded to include Im Se Mi and Kwak Si Yang!
Im Se Mi and Kwak Si Yang will both be featured in the upcoming romance drama “Black Salt Dragon,” which is slated to premiere on tvN on July 15. The principal characters of Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook were just announced.
“Black Salt Dragon,” which is based on a well-known webtoon, is a narrative about the love between a man and a woman who initially connect as online gaming characters when they are still in school and then reunite as a boss and employee sixteen years later.
Notably, Im Se Mi and Moon Ga Young—who portrayed on-screen sisters in the popular drama “True Beauty”—will reunite in “Black Salt Dragon.” Additionally, the two actresses co-starred in the 2011 drama “Heartstrings.”
Im Se Mi will portray Seo Ha Jin in “Black Salt Dragon,” a free-spirited bar owner who follows her heart wherever it may go. Following their virtual encounter with Baek Soo Jung (Moon Ga Young), the two ladies forge a genuine friendship that surpasses their age disparity.
Kwak Si Yang will portray Kim Shin Won, Ban Joo Yeon’s (Choi Hyun Wook) close buddy and the kind and considerate head of the design department of Yongsung Department Store. A rake who has always taken his numerous romantic relationships lightly, Kim Shin Won meets Seo Ha Jin, who is attracted to him, and experiences his first true love.
The first half of 2025 is currently scheduled for the premiere of “Black Salt Dragon.”
