Finally, it’s official: Jennie from BLACKPINK has opened her own agency!
Reports that Jennie had started a new record label named OA (ODD ATELIER) were personally verified by her on December 24.
After uploading many profile pictures and her new company logo to Instagram, Jennie published the following message in English:
Hi, this is Jennie.
This year was filled with many accomplishments, and I’m so thankful for all the love I’ve received. I’m also excited about what’s to come, as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA. Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course, BLACKPINK.
Thank you.
Jennie initially founded OA in November, which sparked a lot of internet conjecture over the company’s website. However, until today, the singer had never formally responded to the rumors.
All four members of BLACKPINK, meanwhile, recently extended their group activity contracts with YG Entertainment; as a result, Jennie’s solo operations will be handled by OA while her group activities with BLACKPINK will continue to be overseen by YG Entertainment.
