Fans are not thrilled with Blue Lock‘s recent confirmation of Season 2 with a major image, as they have been making jokes about the poster and mocking it for a while.
October will see the highly anticipated Blue Lock Season 2 premiere as part of the Fall 2024 schedule. A pivotal image of Rin Itoshi and protagonist Yoichi Isagi was released by the animation studio Eight Bit to announce the sports anime’s renewal.
Although the release date for the second season has not yet been revealed, we do know that it will be available in October. Additionally, Eight Bit has not disclosed how many episodes would be in the upcoming season.
Although fans are excitedly awaiting Blue Lock Season 2, the poster did not live up to their expectations. Yoichi and Rin are intended to be covered in two distinct aura hues in the picture. But neither the aesthetic appeal nor the competitive spirit of the upcoming second season are conveyed by the colors the creators chose for them.
The two individuals on the poster are depicted in varying tones of green, which fails to effectively accentuate the differences between them. Considering how green is portrayed in popular culture, the option is even more dubious.
The main picture has disappointed fans, who are using the occasion to make fun of it. “They could’ve picked a different color aura lmao, smelly boy,” rem”rked one X user.
Another added, “This poster proves Blue Lock stinks,” mocking both the anime and the poster.
A third enters the jest, asking only, “Y’all sure that’s aura?”
The Third Selection Arc of the manga will be continued in Blue Lock Season 2, which will take up where Season 1 left off. Following that, it will adapt the U-20 Arc, which is the following arc. It is unclear how many episodes Season 2 will include, so it is impossible to predict if the season will fully adapt the storyline. But more details will soon become available.
