A sneak peek of Cha Eun Woo from MBC’s upcoming drama “Wonderful World” has been released!
In the heartbreaking thriller “Wonderful World,” Kim Nam Joo plays Eun Soo Hyun, a mother who wants retribution for the untimely death of her son. Once the offender circumvents the judicial system to avoid punishment, she takes matters into her own hands to seek justice. Cha Eun Woo of ASTRO will play Kwon Sun Yool, a man who drops out of medical school and leads a difficult life until he unintentionally gets involved with Eun Soo Hyun.
Despite coming from a wealthy family, Kwon Sun Yool is a mystery young man who has made the decision to live a challenging life. Cha Eun Woo has a dramatic metamorphosis in the recently released stills, radiating charisma with a bloodstain on his lips and a defiant glint in his eye.
Another still shows him riding a motorcycle in a race, which begs the issue of why he chose to lead a wayward life. In addition, Kwon Sun Yool’s gruff side is shown as he works alone in a car in a dim junkyard.
“Kwon Sun Yool is a figure who threw away his dreams and personally chose to live a completely different life,” the production team revealed. The plot of [his character] was furthered by Cha Eun Woo’s nuanced acting through his gaze and powerful images.
