The broadcast schedule for the upcoming tvN drama “Is It a Coincidence” (literal translation), starring Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop, has been revealed!
“The drama ‘Is It a Coincidence,’ starring Chae Jong Hyeop and Kim So Hyun, will be broadcast as the follow-up to the currently on-air [drama] ‘The Player 2: Master of Swindlers,'” a tvN source revealed on June 12. The exact date of its July debut has not yet been determined, although it is planned.
“Is It a Coincidence,” which is based on a well-known webtoon, will tell the tale of young people who, after unintentionally running into their first love from ten years ago, discover genuine love and their goals.
Kim So Hyun will play Lee Hong Joo, an animator who fears love because of heartbreaking recollections from a past relationship.
Chae Jong Hyeop will portray Kang Hoo Young, a charming and astute American financial adviser who never had to put in a lot of effort to get amazing outcomes. Feeling dissatisfied with his life’s monotonous and pointless existence, Kang Hoo Young’s heart leaps back into excitement upon his first-ever trip to Korea and his surprising reunion with his high school sweetheart, Lee Hong Joo, after a decade apart.
