A fascinating teaser video for KBS2’s new drama “Iron Family” has been released, providing a sneak peek at the first episode!
“Don’t Dare to Dream” (also known as “Jealousy Incarnate”), “Wok of Love,” and “Pasta” screenwriter Seo Sook Hyang are the authors of “Iron Family,” a dark comedy about a family that has operated a washing business for three generations.
A glimpse into the familial and romantic life of the lead character Lee Da Rim (Geum Sae Rok) can be seen in the recently released video. The voice-over narration, which is probably that of Da Rim’s mother, begins with her scratching a lottery ticket and emphasizes, “You need to work hard to earn and save every penny!”
Next, when Seo Kang Joo (Kim Jung Hyun) becomes more agitated and asks, “What did I do wrong?,” the teaser intensifies. It was you who suggested that we check into a motel together! In another scene, Da Rim is seen flirting with Choi Tae Joon’s character Cha Tae Woong (who is shirtless), hinting to the audience about the potential love triangle between the three of them.
The video ends with a voice-over asking, “Why shouldn’t we report this?,” and Kang Joo’s shocked expression. Is there anything the cops shouldn’t be aware of? This makes the audience curious about the turns and turns Da Rim and her family will take.
