Disney+ (Plus) original series ‘The Impossible Heir’ Lee Jae-wook, Lee Joon-young, and Hong Su-joo’s stills caught the eye.
‘The Impossible Heir’ (screenplay written by Choi Won and directed by Min Yeon-hong) has released preview stills for episodes 1 and 2 ahead of its premiere on the 28th.
The stills show the strong presence of the characters of Han Tae-oh (played by Lee Jae-wook), the son of a murderer, Kang In-ha (played by Lee Joon-young), the extramarital son of a chaebol family, and Na Hye-won (played by Hong Su-joo), the daughter of a debtor, as well as scenes that give us a glimpse into the stories of their underworld lives.
In episodes 1~2, Han Tae-o and Kang In-ha’s first meeting in Maju City, the appearance of a college student who meets Na Hye-won at Hankuk University, and the prelude to the plan they form an alliance with before joining the Kang-oh group.
Han Tae-o, who ran away from the world due to his murderous father, approaches Kang In-ha, the out-of-wedlock son of a chaebol family, as a means and goal to escape from the bottom of life with his brilliant mind and guts. Abandoned by South Korea’s top chaebol Kang Oh Group, Kang In-ha comes up with an ambitious plan with Han Tae-o, who reaches out to him under the guise of friendship in order to be recognized for his existence. It is an alliance of desires from the lowest to the highest. In the released stills, Han Tae-oh and Kang In-ha are seen announcing the beginning of a project to take a step closer to the Kang-Oh group from their relationship that began as friends in school.
On the other hand, ‘The Impossible Heir‘ is the story of minor leaguers who want to take the throne of Korea’s top chaebol who want to have, become, and steal, and after the first and second episodes were released simultaneously in the afternoon of the 28th, you can meet a total of 12 episodes, two episodes every Wednesday.
