The entire cast of the upcoming drama “Knock Off” has been revealed!
“Knock Off” tells the tale of a guy whose life is turned entirely upside down by the 1997 Asian financial crisis, which is referred to as the IMF crisis in Korea. He goes from being a regular office worker to becoming the global counterfeit market king. Director Park Hyun Suk, who has directed popular dramas like “Forest of Secrets 2,” “Stranger 2,” “Uncontrollably Fond,” and “Song of the Bandits,” will be directing this drama.
Jo Bo Ah portrays Song Hye Jung, a special judicial police officer, and Kim Soo Hyun plays Kim Sung Joon, the king of the counterfeit world. The entire cast of gifted performers has now been revealed, adding depth to the suspenseful plot.
Yoo Jae Myung portrays Kim Man Sik, the father of Kim Sung Joon, who first exposed him to forgeries. With Kim Soo Hyun, he will play a father-son connection.

Lee Jung Eun will appear in a special capacity as Kim Sung Joon’s loving mother, Park Ae Ja, a retired government servant. In order to further develop the plot, Kim Eui Sung will also make an appearance as Bae Pil Gu, the uncle of Bae Nu Ri (Bang Hyo Rin) and a significant player in the Busan counterfeit market.
The role of Bae Nu Ri, the chairperson of the counterfeit sanctuary Saemmul Market, is portrayed by rising sensation Bang Hyo Rin. Bang Hyo Rin, who gained recognition for her role in “Hail to Hell,” will dazzle as Bae Nu Ri, a youthful queen of the black market who combines cruelty and naivety.
“Itaewon Class” star Kwon Nara will portray Moon Yu Bin, a designer of upscale knockoff handbags. Moon Yu Bin’s younger sister Moon Da Bin, who also manufactures fake bags, will be portrayed by Park Se Wan, who is well-known for her work in “Victory.” It is anticipated that the two actors playing sisters will delve into complex relationships with Kim Sung Joon and the other characters at Saemmul Market.
Kim Hye Eun portrays Jang Ji Soo, the legal advisor and tactician for Bae Nu Ri. Known for his distinct charisma, Go Kyu Pil plays Tonkatsu, the right-hand man of Bae Nu Ri and the head of the action squad at Saemmul Market.
Kim Moo Yeol, a prosecutor at the Central District Prosecutor’s Office, will make a special appearance as Baek Jong Min, the head of the task force looking into counterfeiters Bae Nu Ri and Kim Sung Joon. Detective Lee Ki Bong will be portrayed by Jung Man Sik, and investigator Jegal Hyun Sook by Kang Mal Geum. It is anticipated that their performances will give the program a fresh energy.
