With CUBE Entertainment, (G)I-DLE is carrying on its adventure!
At the Melon Music Awards 2024, (G)I-DLE took home the Daesang (Grand Prize) for Record of the Year on November 30.
“My contract expired, and these days there are many articles being released that are like ‘(G)I-DLE is disbanding,’ or ‘(G)I-DLE is over,'” leader Jeon So Yeon revealed during their victory speech. But the five of us—not just me—decided to extend our contracts collectively. Before we went on stage today, we had a conversation. It involves all five of us members together, so it’s not just me.
“I hope NEVERLAND won’t worry because the five of us will be together from now on, next year, the year after, and really forever,” she added. Next year, we’ll contribute with quality music as well.
