Han Ye Seul and her partner got married!
On May 7, Han Ye Seul announced her engagement to her fiance in a video that she posted to her “Han Ye Seul is” YouTube channel.
Han Ye Seul said, “I’ve been waiting to share this incredibly happy news with all of you,” in the video. Finally, my partner and I have filed for marriage.
“We’re getting ready to register our marriage officially right now, but by the time this video is released, we’ll already be married,” she said. We may now officially call each other married. I’m a married woman now!
“To be honest, even when we were dating, I never thought of us as boyfriend and girlfriend, but rather as lifelong companions,” Han Ye Seul continued. I never felt the need to get married because I always thought of him as my one and only soulmate, my closest friend in the world, and the other half. Therefore, it didn’t matter to me if we were married or not.
Still, she clarified, “We chose to get married in order to make everyone aware of the certainty of our relationship.” She went on to say, “We had originally planned to register our marriage on May 5, but I’m not sure if that would be allowed because it’s a Sunday and a national holiday. Still, I can officially say that I’m married now! She joked lightly as she finished, saying, “We’ll show you how happy we are.” In the future, I’ll also be sure to put my bashful hubby in front of the camera!

Han Ye Seul revealed on Instagram a few hours later that they had formally registered their marriage. “Ahhhh we registered our marriage today!!” she wrote in Korean. We actually intended to conduct it on May 5, Children’s Day, but that day was observed as a public holiday. I believe because I adore spring, I wanted to marry in May. Fortunately, I also adore the number 7, so everything came together nicely, and I’m overjoyed. On the one hand, I wonder why the season and date of your marriage to the person you love are so essential, but when I see how joyful and enthusiastic people become about something as little as this, I realize that this is what gives life its flavor. I am very grateful for the days ahead of us as one, and I am looking forward to them with excitement. These days, I feel so alive. I feel really fortunate and thankful to be able to travel this path with all of you and to be showered with blessings. I’m grateful.
