Every season of Fortnite promises to bring something fresh and interesting for fans to look forward to, so that’s one thing you can always bank on. From Futurama to Attack on Titan to Star Wars, we’ve seen it all. Now, in Chapter 5, Season 1, Peter Griffin from Family Guy will shock us one more. The well-known animated figure appears in the game in two different forms: as a boss who needs to be killed and as a skin that can be unlocked through the battle pass. This tutorial will teach you how to defeat everyone’s favorite adorable oaf in the boss battle and how to obtain the skin for yourself.
How to obtain the skin of Peter Griffin
Chapter 5, Season 1 Battle Pass, which costs 950 V-Bucks, contains the skins for Peter Griffin.
To access Peter Griffin’s first skin, you must level up to level 70. It can be found on Page 11 of the battle pass. But if you finish all 100 battle pass levels and go to Page 2 of the Bonus Rewards section, you can get two different skins for the character. As more skins for this additional battle pass layer are unveiled in the upcoming weeks, it’s also feasible that more Peter Griffin variant skins will be included in these Bonus Rewards.
Tricks for defeating Peter Griffin’s boss
You may find Peter Griffin at Snooty Steppes. On the extreme left side of the site of attraction, in the enormous villa on the tallest steppe, is where he is encountered.
Since he is a boss, it is best to approach the fight well-armed. Take out a few guns, lots of ammunition, and complete shields by looting the surrounding region. When you’re ready to confront him, go inside and see him strolling around in his golden suit. He’ll probably see you too and start shooting at you then.
Aim for his relatively massive head to begin the fight, and try to deliver as much damage as you can while keeping a safe distance from any walls or pillars that you may use as cover if necessary. When he charges at you, make use of this cover to reload and then emerge again for further damage possibilities. He might hurl some explosives at you, so be careful or you could get blown to pieces. If you need to rest, choose a secure area, recover fast, and then carry on with your attack.
You can loot Peter Griffin to obtain his Mythic Hammer Pump Shotgun and a boss medallion that will allow you to regain shields for the rest of the game continuously. A Weapon Mod Bench and a few crates may be found in the next vault, which can be unlocked with the medallion.
