One breed that unfortunately has a bad reputation for being ferocious is the Rottweiler. However, anyone who has ever owned or met one understands that this couldn’t be further from the reality. They rank among the most devoted, compassionate, and friendly dogs someone could hope to have as a friend.
A wonderful illustration of their compassionate disposition is provided by this young youngster and her devoted dog. Their relationship’s purity perfectly captures this lovely breed’s endearing nature.

Jax (@mjrottweilers) and his cute little human sister are such good-hearted and compassionate people. Their mother clarifies that although they had only been apart for three days, you would think it had been a year or longer judging by their happiness to be together again. It’s difficult to determine who is happy! This young lady has a lifelong pal and snuggle partner.
Also, she is as safe as a young child can be. And if it came to it, her friend would be her defender. I trust my Rottweilers more than most people to watch out for a young child because I’ve had them my entire life.
The Real Rottweiler Nature
“The distant manner these world-class guardians present to outsiders belies the playfulness, and downright silliness, that endears Rotties to their loved ones,” is how the AKC characterizes the characteristics of these amazing dogs. They are incredibly trainable due to their high level of intelligence, but we must start training them early. They also require structure, exercise, and mental stimulation. “It is crucial that discipline be fair, consistent, and firm without being harsh,” is what they advise. That applies to all dogs, but it is particularly true to this occasionally obstinate breed.
Observing the bond between this priceless couple delighted the public. “Aw, Rotties are the best and so loyal,” a viewer retorted. They have a deep love for their humans. They actually do! Commenting, “Such an amazing and wonderful bond,” was viewer @BigRed. It’s wonderful to watch, and it really is. “Three days is a year,” said viewer @AntonioNavarro. It may not have been a whole year, but it seems like a lot longer to them. On certain days, even a quick trip to the grocery store might seem endless.
Seeing these incredible dogs act as such excellent representatives of their breed is always pleasing. Good individuals know how to bring up good children and dogs.
