Players are starting to get their hands on the much-awaited Splitgate 2 sequel. Here’s how to get the Closed Alpha early and play.
Five years have passed since Splitgate made its early access debut. When the recognizable Portal pistol was introduced into a competitive environment, the first-person shooter genre was temporarily upended, and the game quickly gained popularity.
Even though the first film was unable to sustain its popularity, a full-length sequel is currently being developed from the ground up in an attempt to win back its fans. The updated version has been gaining attention rapidly, and if you’re lucky, you can really already obtain one.
This is the registration form to sign up for the Splitgate 2 Closed Alpha as soon as possible.
How to Enter the Closed Alpha of Splitgate 2
All you have to do is submit a direct access request on the game’s Steam website to join the Splitgate 2 Closed Alpha.
On the official website, selecting “Join The Alpha” merely takes you to the Steam page. You can try your luck at entering the Splitgate 2 playtest here, but participation is not assured.
August 21 at 12 PM PT is when the Splitgate 2 Closed Alpha is scheduled to start, and it will last until August 25. It’s unknown how many gamers will be allowed to participate in this test or when the next round of testing will start.
The best course of action is to just submit an immediate access request through Steam and hope that it gets approved as soon as possible.
Although the sequel is scheduled for release in 2025, it is not yet known precisely when fans may anticipate the complete release to happen. But since it’s still early in its Alpha phase, the second half of the year is a good bet.
