According to leaked benchmarks, the new Arrow Lake family of Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF CPUs performs well in a number of important categories.

The second-fastest processor in the original Arrow Lake Core Ultra 200K CPU family is expected to be the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF. Benchmark data from Geekbench 6 tests that were released indicates that it is already capable of breaking a few records.

The processor features a base frequency of 3.9 GHz, a boost clock that can reach 5.5 GHz, and 20 cores and 20 threads. There will also be 33 MB of L3 cache capacity on the device. It states that the TDP is 125W.

Geekbench used a Gigabyte Z890 Aero G motherboard with the ‘High Performance’ profile to evaluate the Core Ultra 7 265KF.

The Core Ultra 7 265KF received 3219 points for single-core testing and 19433 points for multi-core testing. This places it at the top of the Intel CPU performance charts and 9.3% ahead of the Core i9-14700K predecessor.

In multicore tests, the difference was less striking; in these settings, the Core Ultra 7 265KF was just 1% faster than the Core i9-14700K, and it lags significantly behind the i9-14900KS and the Ryzen 9 9950X.

Overall, the AMD Ryzen 9000 ‘Zen 5’ CPUs outperform the Core Ultra 7 265KF. This is just one benchmark test, though. Depending on the workload they are subjected to and how well-optimized the application is for the designated CPU, the results can differ significantly.

October 2024 is anticipated to be the release date for the desktop CPUs from Arrow Lake. The Core Ultra 9 285K(F), Core Ultra 7 265K(F), and Core Ultra 5 245K(F) are expected to be among the first three chips in the lineup.

All of these new CPUs are designed to work with motherboards that use the LGA 1851 socket.
