Ji Chang Wook and Son Ye Jin might be working together on a new drama!
Industry insiders revealed on October 24 that the two celebrities will be appearing in the Netflix drama version of the 2003 movie “Untold Scandal,” titled “Scandal” (working title).
“Son Ye Jin received a casting offer for Netflix’s ‘Scandal’ and is reviewing the offer,” said Son Ye Jin’s agency MSteam Entertainment in reaction to the report. “It is true that he received a casting offer,” said Ji Chang Wook’s agency Spring Company, adding that he is currently evaluating the offer.
The historical drama “Untold Scandal,” which is based on the French classic “Dangerous Liaisons,” takes place during the Joseon Dynasty. Jung Ji Woo, who has helmed films like “Somebody,” “Tune in for Love,” “Heart Blackened,” “Eungyo,” and “Moss,” is rumored to be directing the Netflix remake series. Filming for the drama is reportedly scheduled to start in March 2025.
