The primary cast members of the upcoming zombie drama “Newtopia” have been confirmed by Coupang Play!
The plot of “Newtopia” centers on military man Jae Yoon and his girlfriend Young Joo as they race throughout Seoul, a city overrun by zombies, in search of one another.
Park Jung Min, who has demonstrated her acting prowess in a number of movies, including “Deliver Us from Evil,” “Smugglers,” and “Start-Up,” portrays Lee Jae Yoon, a military man who is uncertain about his future.
Jisoo plays Lee Jae Yoon’s girlfriend Kang Young Joo, who recently started her first job after graduating from engineering school. Jisoo made an amazing acting debut in “Snowdrop.”
Jae Yoon is seen in the recently released still gasping for air and appearing shocked as he experiences the zombie breakout while serving in the military. Im Sung Jae, his subordinate In Ho, is even more alarmed as he foreshadows the impending threat.
