Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 266 opens with a discussion between Yuji and Megumi in which the latter describes the fantasy world he intends to construct for Tsumiki. Megumi is still sorry about how he allowed her to pass away.
Yuji claims that he now understands the decisions made by those who must deal with difficult, inevitable circumstances. He is therefore unable to order Megumi to live on.
However, Yuji describes how he finally began to comprehend the decisions made by those who must confront terrible, inevitable facts. He can’t tell Megumi to live right now because of this, even though he understands her.
Sukuna and Yuji are still fighting because the former is upset that Yuji is looking down on him. However, Megumi fights back and Sukuna’s leg disappears into the shadows. Sukuna and Yuji continue to argue, although Sukuna is appreciative of Megumi’s assistance.
