In talks for the Korean version of the well-liked Taiwanese coming-of-age romantic film “You Are the Apple of My Eye,” Jung Jinyoung has now formally joined TWICE’s Dahyun!
Jinyoung and Dahyun were announced as the main actors in the Korean version of “You Are the Apple of My Eye” on May 13, according to Xportsnews.
On May 14, a spokesman for Jinyoung’s camp announced, “Jinyoung has received an offer to star in the project and is positively reviewing it,” in reaction to the story.
The narrative of high school mischievous Ko Ching Teng (Chen Tung Ko) and model student Shen Chia Yi (Michelle Chen) is told in the well-known Taiwanese romance film “You Are the Apple of My Eye,” which spans from their school years to fifteen years later.
Prior to this, JYP Entertainment declared that Dahyun was in negotiations to play Shen Chia Yi’s character, Seon Ah, the female protagonist. A part as Jin Woo, which is a reflection of Ko Ching Teng’s character in the original work, has been offered to Jinyoung.
After his 2019 film “The Dude in Me,” Jinyoung would be making his big screen comeback for the first time in five years if he were to accept the part.
