With a teaser for Season 2, Kaiju No 8’s first season came to a spectacular conclusion.
One of the best anime shows of the year thus far is Kaiju No 8. Kaiju No 8 gained a devoted following after its April premiere, one that looked forward to each new episode. Episode 12 of the anime series’ first season concluded tonight, June 29. But fear not—more is on the way.
Production on Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 has been formally confirmed. A voice announcing the sequel is heard over a burning metropolis in the teaser video that goes with it. However, there has been no word on when the new episodes will air.
Still, there are certain things we are certain of. For instance, the second season will begin where the previous one left off. Episode 12 of Kaiju No. 8 Captured Arc is now complete. This implies that the Kaiju Weapon Arc will open in Season 2. If Season 2 receives 12 episodes as well, it will be able to adapt to the Kaiju No. 8 manga’s Cataclysm Arc.
All of the major characters should make a comeback accompanied by their respective voice actors. This implies that Wataru Katou, Masaya Fukunishi, Asami Seto, Ai Fairouz, and Kengo Kawanishi will all return to their respective roles as Reno, Mina, Hoshina, Kikoru, and Kafka. In Kaiju No. 8 Season 2, Kouki Uchiyama will also be a part of the main cast as Gen Narumi.
Supporters are ecstatic with this news and are sharing their joy on social media. One of these X users remarked, “I KNEW IT! “Let’s F**Kin’ Goooooooooooooo!”
“Excited for season 2,” another person commented. “Anime of the year, in my opinion,” said a third. “Excellent season finale!” Come on, season 2! A fourth person said, “Happy to hear that! Fantastic show that I had a great time watching.
Given the first season’s success, Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 might air in 2025 or 2026. However, nothing is certain until an official statement is made.
