Kim Sejeong and Kang Tae Oh may co-star in a new drama!
Kim Sejeong and Kang Tae Oh will play the main characters in MBC’s upcoming drama “The Moon Flows in This River” (working title), according to a report published by TenAsia on October 19.
“Kim Sejeong received an offer to star in ‘The Moon Flows in This River,’ and she is positively reviewing the offer,” a source from her agency Jellyfish Entertainment said in response to the report.
According to reports, “The Moon Flows in This River” is a romance drama that resembles the “historical version of ‘Secret Garden.'”
After featuring on “Produce 101,” Kim Sejeong made her I.O.I. debut in 2016. She later promoted music as a part of Gugudan. She began her acting career with “School 2017” and went on to star in films such as “The Uncanny Counter,” “A Business Proposal,” “Today’s Webtoon,” and others. She and Lee Jong Won are presently preparing for the November 4 launch of their new romantic comedy, “Brewing Love.”
After making his acting debut in the online drama “After School: Lucky or Not” in 2013, Kang Tae Oh went on to star in several popular dramas, such as “Run On,” “The Tale of Nokdu,” “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” and others. As his first project after leaving the military, he was confirmed earlier this year to co-star with Lee Sun Bin in the new romantic comedy “Potato Research Institute” (literal title).
