Many leaks in the months preceding Black Ops 6’s release have suggested the arrival of a Warzone map named Avalon, which may already be included in the game.
Warzone players have only had access to Urzikstan as a major map for the past year, whereas Resurgence has offered Vondel, Rebirth Island, Fortune’s Keep, and other maps.
Verdansk will, however, undoubtedly return in the spring of 2025, and rumors have it that Avalon, another large map, will accompany the 2025 COD release following Black Ops 6.
A possible map of the game is also included in the alleged reports and leaks, providing players with a preview of how it might look.
The re-emergence of Verdansk dispels the notion that Avalon will be the main map in BO6’s Warzone integration unless Raven Software intends for the Treyarch-developed game to include two other large maps.
However, based on this TheTacticalBrit video, it appears like Avalon is in Black Ops 6 – if not quite as a playable Warzone area.
One of the islands that was visible in the leaks is the Training Course, which is presently playable in the Black Ops 6 beta.
The map that was discovered in Rebirth Island may also be accessed in the Training Course, providing players with a new perspective on possible layouts for Avalon.
Like with many teases and leaks of this kind, Avalon’s scheduled release might bring about significant modifications to the map, and timetable, or perhaps the inclusion of Warzone altogether.
