Promotions for Leo Luo Yunxi’s most recent costume drama, “Shui Long Yin” (水龙吟), have been going viral lately. The cast images have been released, and the show recently stated on April 24, 2024, that filming has been completed. The photos reveal startling similarities between the clothes in “Shui Long Yin” and those seen in the popular series “Until the End of the Moon.” Some people would not be surprised by this similarity, given that this is the third project that producer Wang Yirong (王翼荣), who has also worked with main actor Luo Yunxi on “Till the End of the Moon” and “Immortality,” has done together.

Wang Yirong (王翼荣), the producer of the upcoming “Shui Long Yin” (水鎙吟), provided insights into the 35-year-old actor in a recent interview with Yu Li (娱理). She highlighted Leo Luo Yunxi’s magnetic presence while describing his portrayal, saying, “His overall demeanor is very impactful, and his facial features are very striking.” His eyes and demeanor convey a powerful, empathic person, which makes it simple to explore a range of creative options.
According to Wang Yirong, Luo Yunxi has a strong dedication to authenticity and quality in his work. His willingness to work closely with the team and delve into the story’s fundamental themes demonstrates his commitment to his craft. “Luo Yunxi will have more room to showcase his skills in fight scenes, challenging unique and rarely seen high-difficulty action sequences,” Wang Yirong revealed, giving fans additional information about the action sequences.

Luo Yunxi plays the lead role in “Shui Long Yin,” leading the drama with a group of supporting actors. Ao Ziyi, Alen Fang Yilun, Bao Shangen, Sebrina Chen Yao—who has previously collaborated with Luo Yunxi on several projects—and Jelly Lin Yun round out the cast. Given that Jeremy Xu Zhengxi had previously declared his intention to leave the entertainment industry, it comes as a welcome surprise to hear that he is making a special appearance. Riley Wang, Xie Binbin, Jiang Zhenyu, and Yang Shize are among the other guest stars.
