A brand-new, humorous teaser for tvN’s upcoming drama “Love Next Door” has been revealed!
The plot of the new romantic comedy-drama “Love Next Door” centers on Bae Seok Ryu (Jung So Min), a lady trying to turn her troubled life around, and Choi Seung Hyo (Jung Hae In), the son of her mom’s friend, who is seen as the dark chapter in Bae Seok Ryu’s life. Director Yoo Je Won and writer Shin Ha Eun of “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” are in charge of the drama.
A fascinating change in the relationship between Choi Seung Hyo and Bae Seok Ryu is hinted at in the recently released teaser. After being friends since they were young, Bae Seok Ryu is shocked to see that Choi Seung Hyo is now much taller than she is. “Do you still see me as that small kid who was shorter than you?” he asks jokingly. I’m already 34 years old,” he said, expressing his maturation from a youngster to a man.
In other sequences, Bae Seok Ryu surprises Choi Seung Hyo by giving him a firm hug and calling him cool, which makes Choi Seung Hyo react.
The teaser also introduces Jeong Mo Eum (Kim Ji Eun), a paramedic who has known Bae Seok Ryu and Choi Seung Hyo since they were young and is well-versed in their embarrassing past, and Kang Dan Ho (Yun Ji On), a journalist with integrity who recently moved into Jeong Mo Eum’s neighborhood. These four friends’ relationships and chemistry as they grow closer promise to make for an engrossing and touching tale.
