Key Changes in Patch 14.8
Voidgrub Buffs
In Patch 14.8, Voidgrubs are set to receive a series of buffs as Riot aims to place more emphasis on them as a neutral jungle objective. These enhancements include an increase in damage with the Touch of the Void buff and a reduction in the number of Voidgrubs required to summon them in the lane.
Champion Adjustments: Mordekaiser
Mordekaiser is also undergoing changes in this patch. The cooldown for his Obliterate (Q) ability is being reduced from 9-4 seconds to 8-4 seconds. However, the base damage for his Death’s Grasp (E) ability is being reduced from 80-140 to 70-130.
System Changes: Voidgrubs
The system changes for Voidgrubs include an increase in the Touch of the Void damage per stack from 6/3 to 8/4 and a reduction in the number of stacks required to summon a Void Grub from 5 to 4.
While these are the early notes for Patch 14.8, it’s important to note that these changes are subject to further adjustments before the final release.
