My Deer Friend Nokotan’s release time has been moved by Crunchyroll, thus the absurdist comedy will now be accessible even earlier every week.
My Deer Friend Nokotan ranks among the top anime of 2024 thus far. The peculiar coming-of-age program, which centers on a high school girl who befriends a new student who also happens to be half deer, is incredibly endearing, funny, and odd.
Every Sunday, Crunchyroll released a new episode, concurrently releasing it on a larger scale in Japan. That will change on August 7, 2024, and the show will henceforth air every Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. PT.
This was made known for My Deer Friend Nokotan Episode 6 on the service itself. Even though the prior time slot was a simulcast with Japan, the new episodes’ real launch didn’t coincide with it because they originally appeared on Abema for a short duration.
Episodes will now be released in accordance with Abema’s exclusivity, which is an interesting twist in licensing as these agreements typically don’t materialize for releases outside of Japan. A considerable portion of the crowd was undoubtedly finding a method to view earlier without having to wait.
It’s hardly shocking that we still don’t know how many episodes this first season will have. Fans occasionally don’t realize something is the last episode until a week or two beforehand. Demon Slayer still follows those guidelines.
Seeing My Deer Friend gallop is a true delight, no matter how long she goes. Sadly, with only 43 chapters available as of right now, there isn’t much of Oshioshio’s manga to adapt.
