One of the most despised villains in the series has had his destiny revealed by spoilers for My Hero Academia Chapter 427.

We are currently in the middle of the epilogue of My Hero Academia. Thus, it’s at last time for us to learn what became of the main protagonists following the conclusion of the Final War. As we find out what happened to well-known bad guys like Shigaraki and Dabi, Chapter 427 will reveal Chisaki’s true identity.

Among the series’ most sinister antagonists is Kai Chisaki. He plays the main antagonist in the Shie Hassaikai Arc and is the one who spent years torturing and experimenting on Eri in order to create the bullets that negate quirks.

He spent considerable time in prison following Deku’s victory over him until making his escape from Tartarus during the Paranormal Liberation War. Afterward, he strikes a deal to bring Lady Nagant to Deku with All For One.

In the end, he was defeated by the youthful hero and apologized for not being able to succeed Shie Hassaikai’s former boss. Deku countered that he ought to feel bad about what he did to Eri. Chisaki then vanished from view for a while.

In Chapter 427 of My Hero Academia, the antagonist reappears. Tsukauchi tells Deku and All Might that Chisaki was taken into custody following the conclusion of the Final War. Thanks to certain support items, the previous boss—who also happens to be Eri’s grandfather—has emerged from the coma that Chisaki’s Overhaul had placed him in.

The manager informs Chisaki that Shie Hassaikai has broken up when he visits him in jail. He expresses his disappointment in the villain for deviating from the path of humanity. Even though Eri would soon forget him, the elder guy warns him not to forget the terrible things he done to her.

He also assures Chisaki that he will be by his side no matter what and that he will chastise him till the day he passes away. For the despised antagonist, who will live out the rest of his life behind bars with his beloved by his side, this is a bittersweet conclusion.

Chisaki’s treatment of Eri could not be justified. For such a terrible villain, this seems like too soft of an ending. On the other hand, My Hero Academia is a tale of redemption and hope. Also, Chisaki’s outcome captures the essence of the narrative.
