“Parasyte: The Grey” on Netflix has released a brand-new, action-packed trailer and poster!
“Parasyte: The Grey” is based on the world created by Hitoshi Iwaaki for his renowned manga series “Parasyte.” It tells the story of what happens when alien parasite organisms descend on Earth and try to take over the human race in an effort to become more powerful.
Starring as Jeong Su In, a woman who succumbs to one of the enigmatic parasites, is Jeon So Nee. But when it is unable to take over her mind, she unintentionally starts living strangely alongside it. Goo Kyo Hwan co-stars as Seol Kang Woo, a man searching for his sister who has gone missing by pursuing parasites.
The recently unveiled teaser poster presents Jeong Su In’s distinct persona—she is neither a human nor a parasite. The tentacle of the parasite Heidi extends from the right side of the face, in contrast to the human-looking left side. The peculiar symbiotic relationship between Jeong Su In and Heidi has viewers eager to find out more.
A human-controlled parasite declares in the teaser, “We came to Earth with one goal in mind a short while ago.” The statement “We have no choice but to parasitize human bodies in order to survive” alludes to the spread of parasites on Earth.
Kang Woo (Goo Kyo Hwan) hides from the parasites as a fierce conflict between humans and parasites escalates. A longer glimpse of the protracted conflict between humans and parasites is given by Team Grey’s leader, Jun Kyung (Lee Jung Hyun). Team Grey is a task force devoted to combating parasites.
In the final moments of the teaser, Jeong Su In finds herself encircled by parasites who think she is not like them. When faced with danger, Heidi steps out powerfully, building suspense for the wild ride that follows.
On April 5, “Parasyte: The Grey” will make its Netflix debut. Watch this space for additional developments!
