New stills featuring Ji Jin Hee, Kim Ji Soo, and Son Naeun have been revealed for JTBC’s weekend drama “Romance in the House”!
“Romance in the House,” which was written by Kim Young Yoon of “My Secret Romance” and directed by Kim Da Ye of “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty,” follows the path of people who were once estranged but try to get back together as a family, realizing the significant work, reflection, and tears needed. Ji Jin Hee plays Byun Moo Jin, whose business failed and led to his divorce from Geum Ae Yeon 11 years ago. Kim Ji Soo plays Geum Ae Yeon, Byun Moo Jin’s ex-wife, who struggles to raise her two children on her own.
The first episode of “Romance in the House” will reveal a shocking twist to viewers: After being cut off and presumed dead by his family 11 years prior, Moo Jin unexpectedly reappears. He appears to be in wonderful health in front of his ex-wife Ae Yeon and his two kids, Son Naeun (Mi Rae) and Sanha (Hyun Jae) from ASTERO.
Moo Jin’s return as the new owner of a property valued at 3 billion won (roughly $2.2 million) surprises not just his former family but also everyone else at the villa. This is going to be a big talking point because it’s a big departure from his former status as the family’s struggling provider.
With the intention of taking back his responsibilities as a husband, father, and head of the household, Moo Jin goes back to his family. But Mi Rae, his daughter, is adamantly against his coming back. His frequent business setbacks caused Ae Yeon, the mother of Mi Rae, a great deal of hardship.
Mi Rae, who harbored deep animosity toward her father following their divorce, went on to succeed as a merchandiser (MD) at a big-box store and to fiercely defend her mother. Even more resolute than when she severed her relationship with him at the age of 18, Mi Rae is prepared to thwart Moo Jin’s attempts to get Ae Yeon back. She is now determined to demonstrate that she is thriving without him.
In addition to his startling acquired fortune, Moo Jin’s reappearance is intriguing due to the several mysteries he is holding. He won’t discuss how he obtained his wealth or his activities in the eleven years following his divorce.
The family villa is experiencing increased buzz due to his odd circumstances. People are becoming more interested in learning the secrets he keeps hidden and are even hinting at suspected criminal involvement.
