Manga creator Yusuke Murata has subtly announced the release window for One Punch Man Season 3, which fans are eagerly anticipating.
Fans of One Punch Man have been eagerly awaiting Season 3, and their wait is almost over. Since the last season debuted back in 2019, there haven’t been many changes.
Studio Madhouse produced the first season of the anime series in 2015, while Studio J.C. Staff produced the second season in 2019. For the forthcoming third chapter, the anime studio is expected to remain unchanged.
The official website released a special announcement teaser along with the name of the animation studio and staff in February 2024, giving fans fresh information about the upcoming season after over five years of waiting.
Although the company has not yet made an official announcement regarding the release timetable, there are currently reports that it will take place in 2025.
“TV Anime One-Punch Man Season 3 is planned for a 2025 release according to a reliable Weibo source,” an anime account on Twitter/X posted on October 16.
“This Information can’t be confirmed and should only be considered a rumor for now, so please wait for the official announcement,” they said in the same post.
The following day, the same account disclosed that Yusuke Murata, an artist from One Punch Man, had retweeted the post on his official Twitter account. Even if this doesn’t prove the rumor is accurate, it does suggest that Season 3 may premiere in 2025.
